Working as a book designer with a small New York publisher, I learned what it takes to produce a professional book, and market it, and I share that with you in my courses. I have been making my living as a freelance writer since 2009. As well as ghostwriting several books for clients, in subjects ranging from Tarot and Chinese astrology to gluten-free and paleo diets, I have written 3 novels, and published 10 nonfiction books as Sandy Gee. I am the founder and owner of the Write, Publish, Promote website, which supports new authors and writers, and I have taught Creative Writing for Adults at a local academy as well as with private clients. I also offer book formatting and design services, along with editing and proof-reading on my site and through freelancing sites. These are labor-intensive jobs, where the costs can quickly rack up. Not everyone has the budget for several rounds of editing and professional book design, particularly new writers, who often need them most. I started teaching online based on the, "teach a man to fish," principle. I want to help as many writers as I can on their journey to indie author success.
